This morning, I have realized that I reached 10,000 pageviews! Considering that I am not a professional artist - I think this is quite a lot. I work as a full - time programmer (and I'm also founder of a small IT startup), which basically means that I have limited amount of spare time to spend on hobbies. Somehow, I managed to balance work, family, friends, sports and a bit of drawing. It's not easy - I don't get to draw as much as I would like to, but I try to use every single chance I have. Even if it's only one hour per week - it still makes me happy. When I look back on some of my older drawings, I can clearly see the improvement. I was very lucky to be around some very talented people, who showed me some tips and tricks and introduced me to some great new comics, books, movies and artists. I also explored a lot on my own, learned some new techniques, but the bottom line is that I never stopped learning and improving - and I think it shows. And I'm glad that you guys think that my illustrations, pages and characters are cool - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
I am still working on that graphic novel - it goes very slow, but it moves forward. Also, there is a good chance that my artwork will be featured in one KickStarter project (it's a board game about powerful demigods), but more on that later this year!
Cheers and thanks!
