This morning, I have realized that I reached 10,000 pageviews! Considering that I am not a professional artist - I think this is quite a lot. I work as a full - time programmer (and I'm also founder of a small IT startup), which basically means that I have limited amount of spare time to spend on hobbies. Somehow, I managed to balance work, family, friends, sports and a bit of drawing. It's not easy - I don't get to draw as much as I would like to, but I try to use every single chance I have. Even if it's only one hour per week - it still makes me happy. When I look back on some of my older drawings, I can clearly see the improvement. I was very lucky to be around some very talented people, who showed me some tips and tricks and introduced me to some great new comics, books, movies and artists. I also explored a lot on my own, learned some new techniques, but the bottom line is that I never stopped learning and improving - and I think it shows. And I'm glad that you guys think that my illustrations, pages and characters are cool - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

I am still working on that graphic novel - it goes very slow, but it moves forward. Also, there is a good chance that my artwork will be featured in one KickStarter project (it's a board game about powerful demigods), but more on that later this year!

Cheers and thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am working on something new - big illustration, much bigger than what I usually do, called "No one's God". You can find the preview in my gallery: fav.me/d5cvykv

Let me know what you think! Keep in mind that this is only one half of the picture, there is much more - but I won't spoil it!

I saw "The Dark knight Rises" last night... and I don't like it. At all.
Nolan must be very arrogant, when he thinks he can sell the audience the movie without a script. The whole movie is just a mess. At moments I felt like the whole movie was put together in a hurry, not worrying much about logic, characters and common sense. Several times, things happen simply because characters decide to go somewhere, everything is forced (and deus ex machina is everywhere). Catwoman is useless - she is just a decoration, nothing else. Bane was irritating (at least to me), because he ended up talking way too much, which had a negative impact on his character. Motivations of characters are so pathetic that it's hard to believe. The ending is... probably the greatest flaw of the movie. This would not work even in the worst superhero comics. I liked the first "new" Batman. I was not sold on TDK, way too pretentious for me - but in the end, both of those movies are miles ahead of this piece of junk. It's not even entertainment (unless you consider someone force feeding you his feces an entertainment).
I really miss the time when movies actually had a script, a well written script. Unfortunately, the audience has been starving for well-written scripts for some time, so they clearly forgot how it looks like.

I  worked on something new over the weekend, so as soon I get my hands on the scanner, you will be able to see my new illustration. It seems that "One of the Titans" is, by far, the illustration that people loved the most. So far, there was almost 900 views and 100 favs for that illustration alone (and the numbers keep growing ever day). Thanks guys! Now, since I realized that you like when I draw some big, ugly daemons, I decided to give you some even bigger and uglier ones. So, I expect you are going to love my new stuff. Stay tuned, I promise you won't regret :D (hint, check my Facebook profile for what's to come :D).

First I want to wish you all a happy New Year!

Well, holidays are over, so I am back at work, but I also finished the script for the first episode of my graphic novel. I am currently working on the script for the second episode and I hope I will finish it by the end of the February. I also did some illustrations - I'll post something new this week!

So, here we are again. Well, a few days ago, me and one friend of mine decided to finally start work on our comic book. Right now, the whole thing is in the early stage and there's a lot of sketches and notes lying around, but I will add more info as the whole thing starts taking shape. The first two chapters should be finished somewhere in the second half of the 2012.
